Display and Configuration

The Yu Yuphoria sports a big 5.0-inch IPS LCD multi touch display with a resolution of 720 x 1,280 pixels (HD) leading to a pixel density of 294ppi. Acting as the brains of the Yu Yuphoria is a quad-core Cortex A53 processor clocked at the speed of 1.2GHz and sitting on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 chipset. It is assisted by a 2GB DDR3 RAM  along with Adreno 306 GPU, thereby exhibiting powerful and silky smooth performance. One of the key highlights of the device is its latest Android v5.0.2 Lollipop OS.

Camera and Storage

At the back of the Yu Yuphoria, we have an 8MP autofocus camera and LED flash which has the ability to shoot full HD videos at 25fps. It is accompanied by a 5MP snapper at the front which can be used for capturing selfies and enjoying video calls. For storage purposes, it is packed with an internal memory of 16GB which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD slot.

Battery and Connectivity

The Yu Yuphoria keeps the show running without any disturbance, thanks to a 2230 mAH, Li-Po, Non-removable battery which delivers a talktime of 7 hours and 160 hours of standby time on 3G . Moving to the connectivity and networking section, we have options like 4G (specific regions), 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS/A-GPS, EDGE, GPRS and USB port.
Verdict
The Yu Yuphoria is the second member to be launched from Micromax's sub-brand Yu with the name being decided by an online voting. The device renders a top notch performance, thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 401 chipset and supports 4G networks as well.
